WHO WE ARE
EMPOWERING HAWAII’S FAMILIES TO LEAD HEALTHY AND FULL LIVES
Since 1996, Women In Need (WIN) has been serving Hawaii’s community by assisting women and their families with transitional housing and other services. Our mission, “empowering Hawaii’s families to lead healthy and full lives” provides the framework for our organization to give women and children a safe place to live while implementing programs to help them develop and maintain self-sufficiency.

About Women In Need
For those struggling with homelessness:
WIN helps women and children get off the streets and placed into transitional or permanent housing. Reach out to learn more.
What Makes WIN Different:
We are one of the few organizations that allow children to reside with their mother.
We start the planning process in the prison (where they will work, what goals they want to achieve, etc.)
We guide women through everything from housing to substance use treatment and many other classes.
Women in need is amazing. They’re not only there for women, but men as well. They have drug classes and domestic violence classes which are very professional and have high success rates. If you put in the work, WIN is there for you and will help you navigate your new life!
